Oware is a very ancient game dating back to the time of the Pharaohs in Egypt. Awalé is played on a board with two rows of six holes, and each hole contains two or three seeds. The object of the game is to capture more seeds than your opponent. Players alternate turns moving seeds around the board, and capturing the opponent’s seeds by passing over a hole with two or three seeds.
