Wax is not only involved in fashion, but also plays a fundamental role in the daily life of the African continent.
The African cloth also called Dutch wax, super wax or “chigan” in one of the Benin languages.
Apart from these functions, wax has always been used as a key element to carry newborns on their back, tied securely.
