Ferdinand and his sisters Anne and Rène grew up together in a small village in Benin, West Africa, surrounded by vibrant colors and fabrics rich in history. As children, they helped their mother sew traditional garments, admiring how each piece told its own unique story.
 
However, life separated them when Ferdinand emigrated to Europe for love. The farewell was painful, but the siblings vowed to remain connected somehow. Over time, while Ferdinand struggled to adapt to his new life in Europe, Anne and Rène stayed in Africa, honing their craft and collaborating with local artisans.
